What is Contemporary Productions?
Contemporary Productions is a St. Louis company for event management, entertainment booking and corporate event production. Its site says it began in 1968, when Steve Schankman, now its president, joined his love of music to the entertainment business. For corporate events, its site lists a meeting planner service, entertainment, event production, travel, theme design, decor and photo and video. Its case studies include the annual Blueprint and Cross Sector Insights conferences for Stifel, a Chicago team update for RubinBrown with booked speakers and AV, and annual sales and leadership conferences for World Wide Technology. Its site says World Wide Technology has relied on it for nearly a decade. The portfolio photos show conference stages, a themed show and a celebration party.
