Offsite Society

What is Offsite Society?

Offsite Society is an Austin corporate retreat planning company founded by Jillian Morell. On its site the firm describes itself as a dedicated retreat specialist, and its work centers on three things: multi-day corporate retreats, executive summits and incentive trips, planned for companies across the United States and abroad. Jillian came to the work from the corporate world. In every role, by the firm's own account, Jillian ended up as the organizer, coordinating the company offsite, planning the leadership retreat or rallying a team around a shared experience, until the side job became impossible to ignore. Offsite Society grew out of that, with the aim of bringing companies a level of retreat expertise most do not have in-house. The retreat service is described in practical terms. The firm researches, vets and negotiates venues, from ranch properties and mountain lodges to boutique hotels and beachfront escapes. It designs agendas that balance focus time, team connection and real downtime, sources and manages catering, activities, transportation and AV, and handles attendee communication, including real-time text updates, so travel details and schedules reach everyone without going through HR. Budgets are tracked throughout and reconciled at the end, and the firm offers support on the day of the event. The portfolio is still compact and shows the range: a meeting, a holiday party and a golf tournament for Caliber and a long table set with gifts for an RCC sales group. Client testimonials on the site mention the lodging, activities, meals and snacks, and praise Jillian's attention to detail. The firm lists technology and SaaS, finance and private equity, healthcare, real estate and creative agencies among the industries it works with, from startups planning a first all-hands retreat to established companies running annual leadership offsites. For an Austin team looking for a planner whose whole practice is the offsite, Offsite Society is a focused choice.
