What is Whoa Events?

Whoa Events is a corporate event planning agency based in San Francisco and led by founder and CEO Christina Oh. The agency describes itself as female- and POC-founded, and it focuses on internal retreats, executive programs and boutique conferences, working as an extension of a client's own team from the first idea to the final detail. Shorter offsites follow the same pattern. BlueOcean's first company offsite took its employees to Terranea in Rancho Palos Verdes for three days of strategy, team building and shared time, and the agency sourced the venue and built the full program in eight weeks. Beyond retreats, the portfolio includes sales incentive trips, a global sales and marketing kickoff in Lisbon, an investor day, roadshows and multi-day conferences.
