I’ve put this retreat together for teams that want to leave NYC behind without spending the day getting away. Just outside Princeton, the wooded setting changes the pace as soon as you arrive. There’s time to tackle the conversations that matter, enjoy dinner together, and come back the next morning with a clearer head. It’s two nights designed to feel like a proper escape.
Where you stay
I chose a welcoming country hotel tucked into the lakeside woodlands near Princeton. Wander the grounds between sessions, linger by the water, or unwind in the indoor saltwater pool. Guests share comfortable rooms, each with their own bed.

How does the booking process work?
Pick a retreat that fits your team and tell us when you’re coming and how many. You’re then contacted by a local partner, who adjusts every detail with you and sends a custom quote covering the house, meals in the package, and everything else included. Once it feels right, you’re booked — one partner, nothing left to assemble.
How do I pay for my stay?
You pay Vantly, not the venue or a third party. After the quote is approved we send a secure payment link (card or bank transfer, depending on the booking). The balance and any deadline are on the quote so there’s no surprise invoice from someone else.
Will I be asked for a security deposit?
Most full-house buyouts hold a refundable security deposit against damage or extra charges. Whether it’s required, the amount, and when it’s released are listed on your quote — usually a card hold or separate charge, refunded after checkout if everything’s in order.
What are the cancellation terms?
Cancellation terms are on your quote and depend on how close you are to arrival and what the host requires. In general: cancel early and you keep most of what you’ve paid (minus a small fee); closer in, less is refundable; very late cancellations or no-shows are usually non-refundable. If we have to cancel for reasons outside your control, you get a full refund or a rebook.
