Q2 Sales Kickoff (SKO) destinations from Denver

Denver's Q2 shortlist is Napa, Scottsdale, San Diego and Las Vegas. Vail comes off the list once ski season ends. All four are nonstops of two to 2.5 hours, plus a road transfer for Napa.

Spring is short in the desert: Scottsdale and Las Vegas are best in April. Napa and San Diego stay mild well into June.

Staying local.

Mountain resorts near Denver are between seasons in late spring. For a Q2 kickoff, most Denver teams will fly.

A sample two- to three-day agenda.

Napa suits a vineyard dinner after sessions. In Scottsdale, schedule outdoor time in the morning. San Diego works for a bayside reception. Las Vegas keeps everything indoors and in one place.

  1. Day 0. Arrivals and a welcome reception.
  2. Day 1. CEO or CRO keynote, product and compensation-plan sessions, segment breakouts, and a team dinner.
  3. Day 2. Enablement workshops and role-play, a customer or partner panel, and an awards night.
  4. Day 3, optional. A half-day leadership session, then departures.
