BoomPop Review (2026): Who It's For

BoomPop is a good fit for teams who want to describe an event in a short brief and let a modern platform, backed by BoomPop's own planners, turn it into a plan. Independent review coverage is still fairly thin, so treat the scores below as an early signal. If you would rather work with someone who lives in the destination, a local event designer may suit you better.

BoomPop at a glance: ratings and review coverage

We tried to gather every public rating we could find, and we have dated each one. Some sources blocked automated access, and others simply have very few reviews yet, so this table is honest about the gaps.

What BoomPop is

BoomPop presents itself as a modern events platform. Its homepage leads with "Try the event platform Salesforce trusts." and adds, "Just describe your event, and BoomPop does the rest." (boompop.com, as of October 2026).

The public model combines AI-assisted planning software with full-service support from BoomPop's own team. The site talks about planning faster with AI, finding destinations and vendors, tracking spend, and managing guests in one place. BoomPop also cites a place on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of fast-growing companies, which is the company's own claim.

In practice, planning usually starts from your written brief. BoomPop's platform and planners then propose a plan, and you can lean on software alone or add expert event support.

Who BoomPop is for, and who it may not suit

BoomPop is likely a good fit when:

  • You would like to start from a written brief and let a platform and BoomPop's team propose a plan.
  • You value AI-assisted itinerary, guest and spend tools working alongside human planners.
  • You are comparing modern corporate-event platforms for a range of events, not only one offsite.

BoomPop may be less of a fit when:

  • You specifically want a local event designer who lives and works in the destination and already knows its estates and caterers.
  • You would rather browse a large venue catalog yourself before talking to anyone, which is closer to TeamOut or Offsite.com.
  • You need an enterprise event program platform such as Cvent, or multi-supplier procurement software such as Naboo.

What people praise about BoomPop

The clearest attributed praise we found sits on FeaturedCustomers, a vendor-reference platform where companies collect testimonials from their own customers. That makes it useful for themes, but it is not the same as an independent review site.

Hands-off logistics on the day. Customers describe being able to focus on their team while BoomPop handles venues and logistics. One COO put it this way: "Being able to take a vision, make it real, and handle all of the logistics that you don't want to think about — it's absolutely magical." (Dave Mekelburg, COO, via FeaturedCustomers, as of October 2026).

Research depth and vendor relationships. A head of operations singled out the planning effort behind the scenes: "The most invaluable part by far was the pure number of hours that were put into the research…" She also credited BoomPop's existing vendor knowledge and relationships (Addy Mendoza, Head of Operations, same source).

Feeling like part of the team. A marketing leader wrote that "From planning to execution, they felt like an extension of our team…" (Jammie Lober, Head of Marketing, same source).

Ease of use and a flexible model. Directories such as Toolradar list ease of use, a modern interface and the choice between self-serve and full-service as strengths. We will only describe these as "what G2 users say" once the live G2 page has been checked.

Watch-outs and thin coverage

BoomPop is a capable service, and none of the points below are verified customer complaints. They are simply things worth checking before you sign.

  • Independent review volume is still thin. G2 could not be checked, Toolradar cites around ten G2 reviews, and Capterra shows none, so there is little independent signal yet.
  • Full-service costs can scale per person. Toolradar notes that per-person expert support can add up for larger groups. This is a directory observation, not a customer complaint.
  • Some advanced features sit on higher tiers. Toolradar lists custom contract workflows and deeper integrations as Enterprise features. Confirm what your plan includes.
  • Positioning is still evolving. The homepage headline appears to change between visits, so check the current offer when you request a quote.

BoomPop pricing

BoomPop does not publish a simple one-page price list for every offsite on its marketing site, so you should expect a conversation for a firm quote.

Directory listings do give some early cues. As of October 2026, Toolradar lists a free Starter tier, a Pro plan at $1,000 per month, custom Enterprise pricing, and full-service "Expert Event Support" at $129 per person. Capterra's UK listing also shows a US$129 price cue. These figures come from secondary directories, so please confirm current plans with BoomPop directly.

When a local event designer fits better

If you like BoomPop's brief-to-plan approach but would rather work with someone who already knows the place you are going, that is a different job. It is the job Vantly is built for.

We pair your team with a local event designer who lives and works in the region, and who knows its estates, caterers and back roads firsthand. They shape the event around your goals and your dates, so every plan is tailor-made rather than fitted to a template. On your side, Vantly is one point of contact with one invoice.

We started in the New York region, so most of our sample events sit about one to three hours from Manhattan. Those sample events are examples to give you a feel for the work, not fixed menus.

Frequently asked questions

How much does BoomPop cost?

BoomPop does not show a full public price list on its marketing site. Directories such as Toolradar list a free tier, a $1,000-per-month Pro plan and $129-per-person expert support, but please confirm current pricing with BoomPop.

Is BoomPop good for a small leadership offsite?

It can be, particularly if you want software and a service team in one place and are starting from a blank page. It is also worth comparing a local-designer approach for a small, high-stakes group.

Does BoomPop replace a local planner?

BoomPop's public site centers its own platform and planning team. It does not present local, destination-based designers as part of the offer, so that remains a separate choice.

What size of team does Vantly work with?

Our sample events range from small board days to larger company gatherings. Your local designer will shape the plan around your group, whatever its size.

How does BoomPop compare with TeamOut and Offsite.com?

The short version is that BoomPop starts from your brief, TeamOut starts from venues, and Offsite.com offers a marketplace or flat-fee planning. Our comparison pages below go into more detail.
